Mel Cortez RN, BSN
Mel graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. As a Critical care travel nurse for over 10 years, she has been in many facilities across the country.
After 2 pivotal years caring for patients in the Covid 19 Pandemic, she then chose to leave critical care to launch Cortex Gold and create a solution for the rising violence at the bedside.
Samuel DelaCruz
DelaCruz is a United States Infantry Marine who is passionate about helping to create practical, tactical solutions for use by healthcare workers.
Trained by the world renowned private security company, Covered 6, Mr. DelaCruz is using his expertise to develop tools and techniques that will mitigate violence and decrease escalation rates at the bedside.
